                    I think I've been working too hard ,stuck in the shop & studio & keep dreaming about all the things I haven't got !!!     Not good ...... so I thought I'd get it out of my system with a bit of an airing on the blog & some images to drool over.........

    

The Allanah Hill Autumn/Winter 2010 Range is now showcased on her most gorgeous website ( & to think she hails from Penguin, Tasmania) I'd love to have one of everything from the collection  .......

A night of assiette dining at Piccalilly in Battery Point, Hobart would be divine.....

Oh and a revamped studio would be sure to get the work ethic back on track.......

New Glass to 3 Windows.

The fused glass jewellery of Gay McKinnon who resides & works in Hobart are now available in the gallery. Her earthy , simple & very wearable pieces come in the form of pendants and earrings.

New Homewares coming to 3 Windows

Anna Chandler Design Homewares will  be arriving in the gallery early March. Anna Chandler is an Australian artist & designer who grew up in Tasmania, though now settles in Perth, W.A.

Her Bright & colourful pieces are inspired by cultures from all ends of our globe.

We will have a the fantasticly colourful doormats, tea towels to brighten any kitchen, gorgeous mugs, plates & some gift cards too.

Today is the start of the Chinese year of the tiger........ which occurs every 12 years & is said to be a year of far reaching change for all, drama & intensity, a time to be honourable, courageous, hopeful & self reliant.

We should all be wearing fab & feline clothing such as the above Alexander McQueen ( may he & his Mama R.I.P) tank .

Just in from Italy...........

New Season knitwear is in nice and early at the gallery, there is a range of cardigans, vests, shrugs & wraps in many colours. Mostly from Italy but there's also the most lush cashmere wraps form Inner Mongolia in charcoal, deep purple, scarlet , lavender & fantastic colourful & textured scarves/wraps in wool and silk from india too....... Mumibuto pure wool felted avian creatures have been gracing us with their presence in the gallery for the last couple months, they are made by a very lovely lady called Elaine from Hobart & have been proving rather popular....well who wouldn't want to take one of these characterful critters home.

I'm back for 2010

I've been such a naughty blogger........neglecting my blog life for SO long, it's a busy time of year for us here.....but now I'm back......to compensate I am going to let you in on some of  3 Windows favourite blogs of the minute....it's so easy to get lost in blog world........not only is it escapism...bit it's great for inspiration !!!!

Yes, I have a terrible obsession for all things that glitter & sparkle......I'm sure this is how my career as a glass artist has eventuated. I remember as a small child collecting pieces of shattered windscreen, much to mother's dismay & dress ups, well if it wasn't shiny it wasn't for me .....
